Question Dyno tune or Auto tune

I have an 09 Ultra w/ 1400 miles and have had the power package from Fuel Moto for about 1000 miles now. I don't have any problems with it, but someone told me they could hear pinging blipping the throttle while changing gears (he was pretty adamant about hearing pinging). I think I know what pinging sounds like (I grew up with cars in the early/mid 70's and they would ping like crap) but I don't hear the pinging myself. But this has got me worried. I don't run WOT, but I do cruise down the road pretty good. I bought the PCV in hopes of not having to spend the money on a dyno because I don't care if the dyno will get me an extra 3 or 4 horses. Since I was told I have pinging I've considered spending a few bucks to get a baseline dyno run to make sure my AFR's are ok, but don't know if this would show any issues with spark advance. I got to thinking last night, does the auto tune do pretty much the same thing as a dyno or would I still need a dyno tune with the auto tune. I don't know much about dyno's but I think they are pretty much done at WOT and like I said I'm not into WOT. I've considered talking to Fuel Moto about my concern and will probably do that in the near future, but what do I tell them, I think the bike runs fine but someone with more experience on bikes say they hear pinging. BTW I only getting 37 mpg, that doesn't bother me either but people think these bikes should be getting over 40 mpg, is that another reason to have a dyno tune and/or talk to Fuel Moto.

As always "thanks in advance"

What year bike do you have? Also, if it is while changing gears is it pinging or decel popping that they are hearing? Autotune will tune your bike as you ride to the AFR specified across all Throttle positions (TP) and RPMS. The AT module with the PCV will NOT tune the ignition.
