The air zeppelin seat I have done broke. I took the inards out and it appears the pressure switch is stuck in the on position and the drivers switch pack is leaking. Everything else is fine. My shot in the dark - does anyone have an old discarded seat for these parts?? I really hate to scrap the seat for this. Thanks -- Tom
Fasthoss -- Been to the local dealer and have to agree it wasn't in the parts book so he was a head scratchin! I need to see if i can get a download of the owners manual and hopethe parts breakdown is available there.
tcfamy,
H-D sells the seat, so they 'should' have the necessary documentation. If they don't have it locally, they should call the MoCo and get it. That "is" their job...to support the customer.
I'll call my parts person and see what I can scrounge up. If I find anything, I'll post or PM ya.
If the seat is <1 year old, it is still under Warranty. Warranty Bulletin W126A for P/N's: 52341-97C and/or 52333-97C
If the seat is >1 year old, it can STILL be repaired by taking to the dealer and they'll estimate the repair using the information above (Warranty Bulletin).
Let us know how you fare. You could always ship to my dealer and Donna will take care of ya
Koala --- Thanks for the information. I'll run with it next Monday when I return from a quick trip. It's 5 years old, but I sure would think they could support repair or parts. Let you know the results. thanks again---- Tom
