First I gotta say that I am on a really tight budget. I just finished doing a rebuild on the engine and am in the process of buying paint to finish the tour pack and saddle bags. I have been looking at the arc setup but unfortunately I just can't afford that kinda scratch at this time. Been looking at an amp in my price range (which ain't much) on ebay and the like and haven't seen anything I though was worth trying. There were a multitude of cheap china made crap for next to nothing on ebay. I then started looking at marine amps and found a Pyle amp for 32 bucks on buy. Back when I was in high school Pyle was a decent amp so I decided for 32 bucks what the hell. I already installed the biketronics set up last year with a sony middle of the road head unit but at 65 to 75 it was hard to hear over the wind and exhaust. I just got back from a little ride and I gotta tell you the amp was a marked improvement for me. It is a 2 channel 240 watt amp and I can hear it clear at speed. Bass response on the bike is even than it was. Granted I have 5 1/4 in pioneer speakers and bass is something I am sure I just won't get. I did have to use the high level input though. For some reason I was getting some engine noise on the RCA hook up. High is clear as a bell though. No heat issuses at this point either. Maybe before the end of the year I can try to sneak in a 6 1/2 inch set and some install rings. I will just have to see how much the paint, reducer,ect cost. As soon as I can figure out how to post a video clip I will try to do that. Hell I haven't even got an avatar yet but I will work on it tonight. Guess this was just a long winded way of saying the Pyle Marina amp worked well in IMHO for those of us on a really tight budget it might be something worth looking at
