Congrats and I agree that's a sweet bike! I was involved in a hit and run 'accident' and spent a few years incapacitated, then I began runnin heavy equipment another accident cost me the last 22 years. Grew fat sitting around. Was gettin to the point it seemed there wasn't much reason to continue, then came my Rk... I weighed in at 364lb. before I started tinkering with my vehicles again. Just couldn't maintain interest tho for all the pain it causes when I move around too much. When I got the RK two months ago, I began by wrestling it in the back yard so's to build up my muscles and not to embarrass myself dropping the bike in the middle of traffic. I can now dead lift my bike from a lay over in three seconds flat. Every waking moment is spent with a drive to improve my ride. I no longer need a reason to continue with a dull life, my ride is my pride and my inspiration to persist. You cant win the game if you quit
I now weigh just under 285 and still losing without starving myself during the process. No, I didnt lose all that weight in the last two months, that began about a year ago, but without any interest in anything there can be no meaningful existance. I ride, therefore I AM!
Good for you and welcome.
Now be careful. When you start frequenting the Harley dealership and studying the "Christmas Catalog" late at night remember to breathe slowly. And leave your credit card at home. The urge to buy more chrome is strong and cannot be extinguished, even by buying more chrome. You'll only want more. It's futile to resist. Just be cautious.
Thanks guys for the compliments. This is a great forum with a lot of help and knowledge. I know I tapped into it to help make my decision of what bike to get. I'll be posting a lot

And then there's the tattoos...
My wife never rode before. Here's something I didn't see coming. She is using this as an opportunity to create a whole new wardrobe. Just about buying up half the HD women's catalog. No pipes this year.............
