Glad you got them out, these bikes have several different connectors - and they all come apart "basically" the same

Thanks. That's what I originally figured. I was used to moving a release up, or, down, right , or, left, but this was the first where I just jammed something straight into the cavity without having to manipulate a tab or anything. I learned I'll have to also remove the actual terminal to remove the wire from the confines of the hollow bolt that's part of the spotlight housing. I'l merely remove it rather than cut it because there isn't much wire there. All this nonsense just to powdercoat the entire assembly, sure hope it looks good when it's done.

don't know on the 09, but on my bike (99) the aux. lamps are grounded through the bracket, so i had to sand off some of the PC where it connected to the bolts to find my ground.
