Hey.....those are good Dyno numbers!!! Nice to see how these are doing. I have the same A/C but I don't have the SERT. I just had the ECM flashed to save a few $s. Wow....I wish I had the SERT now. Do you think it helped the numbers? I am not that smart on this stuff but I don't believe just a ECM flash would give me the same results.

The ECM flash may give you decent performance, but if you want to maximize performance, nothing beats a DYNO. But keep in mind, it is an art, therefore you want to find a tuner with extensive experience and a good reputation.
Bub 7 mufflers are on...replaced the Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers.......here's my thoughts.
At idle they sound good but not much different than the Jackpots....reasonably quiet.
At part throttle same thing......little different "tone" which my wife describes as throatier and I would tend to agree. A little bit louder than the jackpots but a noticeable change in tone.
At WOT......these things have a really nice sounding wail to them that sounds GREAT! Better than the Jackpots by far in my opinion. Reminds me of the Fat Cat on my Night Train.....fairly mellow til you crack the go stick and then it's game on.
I still have the Jackpot map in my PCV....and the bike runs great. I can't imagine the map is much different but I will check with Jamie tomorrow at Fuel Moto to see if they have a Bub 7 map and if it's worth the hassle of changing.
I swear the bike seems to pull harder....I am sure it's wishful thinking but it seems like it does.
Overall I'd say definitely happy with them...sound is better than the Jackpots and the fit and finish is WAY nicer than the jackpots......it cost me just under 200 dollars to upgrade to the Bubs after selling my jackpots so I am pretty pleased....as I really like the look.
First, they are quite a bit throatier and louder than the Street performance SE slip ons I had. I can not only hear my scoot, I can feel it, especially from 3/4 to full throttle. I also think the bike breathes OUT better and this was evidenced by not having to give any throttle while easing away from a stop where I used to have to give the gas a little twist, I can now just ease the clutch out if you want to.Thanks again to Steve and everyone else who came before and to all who come after, you will LOVE these is you buy em.
Big Daddy Mike, You've had the Bub 7s for a few days now. Are you still of the same opinion . . . you like them and they're not to loud?

PM sent.

I can't get enough of these Bub 7s! I can hear the stereo great on the highway, but when you crack it or go to pass on the road you know the V-Twin is between your legs and so does everyone within ear shot. They are also quiet enough to start up in the garage and ride out of the neighborhood easy without waking anyone, my last bike with 2 into 1 Rinehart was not!

So how do they compare to your last set, I have the SE 4" Touring Mufflers and I am not sure I am happy.
I've had a couple of different exhausts from Bub on different bikes and now have Rinehart's on this one. In my opinion, they make the best sounding exhaust on the market and the quality is excellent. Worth every penny. They really do have a sound all their own.
