Bub 7 slip-ons installed...Oh yeah!!!!
Yup. Used to run Fat Cat on my 06 Street Glide. Completely different sound. The FC is louder and more aggressive like a stock car or 70's muscle car. Got a little blatty when I got on it. The FC is by far the best looking and performing 2 into 1 out there. I just don't like the sound. The Bubs are more mellow with a low bassy thump. They get aggressive when you get on it but not obnoxious.

I can't get enough of these Bub 7s! I can hear the stereo great on the highway, but when you crack it or go to pass on the road you know the V-Twin is between your legs and so does everyone within ear shot. They are also quiet enough to start up in the garage and ride out of the neighborhood easy without waking anyone, my last bike with 2 into 1 Rinehart was not!
Thanks for the info. I think you've convinced me. I'm gonna have to try a set of Bub 7s.

I wonder if Jamie would pipe (pun intended) in on these mufflers being as he tests tons of exhausts with other performance options. Preferably dyno numbers and mpg. I also wonder if they'll get louder as time goes bye and if they will replace packing for free like FM.

Great thread, I'm glad I found it. These sound like the perfect addition to my new 09 UC I'm picking up tomorrow. I had V&H Ovals on my RKC but want a new sound for the new bike and these sound great. I just wanted to confirm if these are the slip-on's everyones talking about before I put my order in.

You know if I'd been personally surveyed by Bub for what I wanted in a slip on muffler for sound, style & performance they couldn't have done it any better. They hit a home run with me with these.
