Man have you added some humor to my morning. I nearly fell out of my chair picturing that scene.

Thats some funny $hit right there! I'm in northern MI, and live in the country. Turkey are a daily hazard up here, even had a few make aggressive moves in my direction, but none have ever come closer than 5 or 6 feet. Up here we have to stop daily and allow mama and her babies to cross.
Northwoodz, we also have turkey in our area. One almost took my head off coming out of a curve. Big birds be careful.
Would you be willing to PM me. In a couple weeks I will be making a loop around the northern 1/2 of Lake Michigan coming from the Twin Cities. We are looking for advice on good rides (and places to stay) in both the UP and the norther LP.

That's a pretty good size turkey. I've got a bunch of good old boys down here in South Alabama that would be proud to alleviate your problem. I hear them stand around and talk about the ones that got away and how they didn't see anything. Maybe they should stop at a red light instead of going out into the woods and fields.
