Just want to say thanks to the guys for Fuel Moto. I purchased the power package for my '09 FLHX, and all I can say is the difference is NIGHT and DAY!!!!!!
They were great with the tech questions on the phone, and two days later my stuff was here. Easy install, runs just like they said it would. If anyone is thinking about going this route, just do it!
That is good news. I am sooo tempted to buy this. Does one dare to ask how much you had to give for it? I have really been thinking about this package but I am not sure which slip ons. I really like the looks of the Bub 7s also so I haven't bought anything yet. I also don't kow anyone with Jackpots or Bubs. That makes it even harder to decide.
I bought the PCV, Jackpot slipons, and Fuel Moto high flow intake (basically a screaming eagle backing plate and K&N filter), shipped with tax (cause I live in Wisconsin) for less than $750.
IMO, it's a no brainer of an incredible deal, especially since the 09 touring bikes headers are real good, for a change right from the factory.
Add in Jamie's excellent cutomer service, and his doubling of the PCV warranty to 2 years, and his free download of any map anytime, and how can you go wrong?
Wow..thanks for that response. Those jackpots do sound better than stock! By far! This forums rocks! I just asked that question and you put videos up and everything....thanks

If sound quality and loudness is your priority only you can decide, and only listening to each will tell you which is best. If performance is your priority the Dyno-Tuned Jackpots are likely the best choice, the sound being quieter than most without losing the throaty tone.
Thanks for the advice Iclick! Loudness is something I need to stay away from but I do think the Jackpots sound failry quiet (remember I have never heard them in person). I enjoy my wife riding on back and I don't want her complaining because I put loud obnoxiuos pipes on. Are you saying the BUB7 is a loud pipe in your opinion? I realize I need to go out and listen to some but that is easier said than done (2 children ) and all the Harley dealerships are an hour away.

I had the standard DT Jackpots (2" baffle on right) and that was perfect for my stock setup. Great sound but didn't make my ears ring after a long ride, and listening to the stereo wasn't a strain. Then I added SE255 cams and the sound level went up a bit more than I would've liked, so I had Fuel Moto send me a 1.75" baffle. That helped but it still isn't as quiet as the original setup. However, with the performance improvement realized this is a small issue that doesn't come close to squelching my enthusiasm for the overall result.
As for the Bub7's, I'm not sure I've heard these. I do think sound quality and acceptable loudness varies widely from person to person. Jamie at Fuel Moto says that most of his Jackpot customers are happy with the sound level, but a few say they're too loud, some that they're too quiet.
I had Rush 1.75's on the bike before the DT Jackpots and the latter was a big improvement in sound quality IMO, and they were quieter even with the 2" right baffle. What's more, performance was noticeably better just replacing the mufflers, the only functional difference being the baffles. The DT Jackpots with the asymmetrical baffling are winners across the board, IMO.
