Odd noise
Bought an 09 street glide friday. When starting up there is loud pop, sounds like the starter to me.....anyone else ever hear this?

Yep my 09 does, but my 05 didn't. I was told it is the troque compensator, that Harley beefed it up for the 96 cu in engine.

My 07 had a "slamming" sound when you started it. The sound went away after a while. I too was told it was normal and coming from the compensator.

Mine does it too, but a little less noticable (not as loud) since I added the FuelMoto stage one kit (PCV, slipons, and free flowing intake).
