Bunch of us headed to Nova Scotia/Prince Edward Island arrive 24 July, You guys still wearin leathers or wearin Tshirts? Seems like from internet forecasts it might still be pretty cool and rainy. The chicks are freakin out about packin... Any help appreciated.
Hi, I'm in New Brunswick which is right next to PEI and Nova Scotia. Summer finally arrived up here yesterday (July 19th), we've actually had two nice days in a row! Actually I was in Halifax, NS this past weekend to see the Tall Ships and Sunday was beautiful.
This summer's been pretty sad so far, lots of rain, overcast and unusually cool but it looks like it's starting to take a turn for the better finally. Bring rain gear though, the weather is a hard thing to predict.
The weather here has not been good so far this summer. Lots of rain and clouds. The weather forecasters are predicting warmer weather is on the way.
Nova Scotia has some great riding. Be sure to check out Cape Breton Island which has the world famous Cabot Trail. Also there is miles of coastline around the whole province.
Once you get to Nova Scotia be sure to pick up a copy of "Motorcycle Tour Guide Nova Scotia", its full of great info. You can get a copy at any of the bike shops. Here is a link to the site: http://www.motorcycletourguidens.com/

Yup, there's some beautiful coastline to see in Nova Scotia, well worth checking out!
I actually just got back from there. Weather was good for the 2-1/2 days spent there but a little chilly and I wore my chaps & leather jacket and all was good. I had 2-1/2 days of sun shine so I lucked out. Going up or back down, check out Easternmost part of US in Maine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubec,_Maine
We're headed for Nova Scotia next week via Maine and New Brunswick.
We're packing gear to be prepared for the possibility of rain and some temps in the 60's. Jeans, long sleeve T shirts and a jacket with a zip out liner should be warm enough for this time of year and we're hoping for some weather in the mid 70's range or better.
Be sure to ride the Cabot Trail and if you're in the Halifax area, don't miss the little fishing village of Peggys Cove. There's a good restaurant at the cove near the light house.
