09 RK Sissy bar
Hi guys, I need help for riders who bought this sissy bar. Iam buying a Sissy bar for my 09 RK (part no#52610-09), I just want to find out if the adjustable docking kit (part no#52596-09) will work on this Sissy bar.
I just called up harley they are not sure if this will work, but on the hd website, said it is for 09 touring sissy bar.

I don' think so. Part no#52596-09 is not the docking kit. It's the mounting hardware for the adjustable rider backrest. You need the docking hardware. Get the 4 point docking hardware (54205-09) so that you can independently attach your new sissy bar and a luggage rack.
If you're absolutely certain that you'll never ever want a luggage rack, you could go with the 2 point mounting hardware, but I wouldn't recommend it.
