You can extend your plan by buying a new plan before 7/29 and beat the extra fee. Mine was to end in 3/2010 so went in and did a 3 year plan. It gave me a credit for my existing plans remaining balance. So now good thru 7/2012 w/o the extra fee. Problem with lifetime plan is that for every change to a new radio a $75 fee so no real benefit unless the radio you have lasts a long time and most portable ones do not.

Just wait till they the get on the gas tax...oh boy.
Certainly glad I'm deaf, no need for me to have phone, radio, text pagers and didn't have to pay all the "Up yours Obamanation Taxes". All of my hard earned money goes to my new Ultra and leave me the hell alone while out riding.
If musicians like Metallica had their way, we'd all be paying out the *** in royalty fees. It's the lobbyists of the music industry, not the politics that are involved. Anyway, for Dead Heads like me, the Sirus/XM option is lame at best. I carry around about 500 hours worth of Grateful Dead, mainly, with some rock and blues wherever I travel so my $**** is squared away on the deal. Ha!
