Like I said before, I think the basic bike is ok, I think they just need to FIRE the designers!
The dovetail back fender and bags look unnatural from the rear. What if you dont like the stock seat? Are there options?
The front crash bar-floor board combo is just a little too cutesy for me.
I do appreciate the engine though...and the lines are good, it just seems they are to the extreme..but I am sure there is a market there.
Has anyone seen any pictures of the 2010 Kingpin Tour? This is the bike that had the most potential to look like a real bagger. The cross country series seem to be more aimed at rg/sg guys.
There really is no comparison to the ride. You give up a lot to ride a Harley. It is no different than what is given up to ride a flawless '57 Chevy. We can love them, but they are in no way comparable to the experience that you have when enjoying progress, instead of nostaligia.
Think 09 corvette vs. 57 Chevy. Both are very nice. But they are worlds apart. You just have to choose which one you prefer...
Test ride a Vision.... I dare you...... you will never look look at your shaking, grumbling, bad-*** harley the same.. because you will know what you are missing...
I like them both....and I know why.
Do you?
If they weren't betting on some nostalgia....then why do they choose to use a air-cooled v-twin still? Because they know they wouldn't sucker anyone over to their bike if it wasn't there.
