Default Changing a efi to carb?

I bought a 95 ultra with efi. They say there were problems with the earlier efi models before delphi. Anybody have experience with those models? If it was a consistant problem, what would it require to change to a carb?
Thanks

Stay with the EFI, Some friends with carbs have issues when passing through the mountains.

If your not having problems with efi leave it alone. I have had both & would not go back to a carb. To much screwin around with temp changes or elevation changes if riding through some mountains. I LOVE my EFI.

I dont recall any years having "problems" .. Mebbe a few kinks in the first couple years , but your bike by now would have been corrected ..

Agree with dh stick with the EFI if no probs

My buddy has EFI on his '94 Heritage and it has run fine since new.

I just bought a used Sportster with a carb and it made me really appreciate the EFI on my EGC.

Only problem I ever had on a 98 was a temp. sensor in the front head, otherwise it ran perfect.
