So I was checking for codes on my 09 EGC earlier this week and ran into something I had not seen before. After entering DIAG mode and holding down the reset switch to read the ECM codes I was getting "no Rsp" in the display. I was alarmed, assuming there was something wrong with my ECM with only 5k on the bike. Anyway, I removed and replaced the connector and tried several times and still got "no Rsp". For all of the other systems I was getting nonE which is what I was hoping to see for the ECM as well.
I did some googling today, and found out why. The engine cut off switch has to be in the RUN position for the ECM to respond. I guess it doesn't get power until RUN is on. Anyway, all is well, as I put it to RUN and I get nonE, just like I was hoping.
I am trying to find out why I have a stored code. I also am getting an rSP on the P. I have ensured that my run switch is in run. Would my PC V and auto tune have anything to do with this? This afternoon, I was riding along when my bike lost all power and sounded like it was running on 1 cylinder. I stopped, turned everything off, and it restarted fine. Rode about 2 miles and the bike just quit. Let the bike sit a few minutes and started and run fine, for about another mile. Lost power and sounded like one cylinder, again. Pulled over and being the mechanical genious that I am, I checked plugs and wires. All looked good. Bike started and run fine for the last couple of miles to where we ate. Unpugged power commander and plugged it back in and rode 25 miles home fine. Still have the engine light come on when starting, goes off for a couple seconds, comes on for a few seconds then goes off.

did you put dielectric grease on the connectors for the power commander? could be a moisture problem.. Also the check engine light doing that says you have a stored code. you didnt clear it ? after like 50 cycles of the ignition switch i believe it is it also clears it self but you can clear it ..
im having the exact same thing only stalled once other than that running fine but.........the check light goes out comes right back on the shuts off a fbout 5 seconds later no codes are stored ,had my indy look at it diagnostics took him the the speedo control module (wich requires a 600$tool to test it) thats as far as ive got.
