21" Front Wheel on Touring or Bagger Install Sheet
Hello all!!
Here is an simple instruction sheet for getting the proper clearance on a 21" front wheel on a bagger. Many dealers, or local shops do NOT do this when installing the 21". We HIGHLY suggest doing this procedure, it only takes a few minutes when you are changing out the wheel anyway.
This will prevent your tire from expanding on a hot day, and bubbling your paint on the fender. If you are having a dealer install your wheels, have them do this procedure, it's just good insurance.
Yes, many people install 21" fronts, and never have problems. But, we have heard many horror stories from people who have.
