King goes Solo
So, appearance trumps capacity, and went with a solo setup.
Checked under the Sundowner first to make sure the fender paint wasn't jacked up. Next, I ordered
the Mustang black pearl solo seat, fender bib, & saddlebag lid covers.
Also have a solo tourpak frame on the way. I'll pull the "hoops" off, once the rack gets here, and I confirm they use the same two front docking posts as the passenger backrest.
If that works out, color matched filler panels are next.
Didn't like the looks of the air lines being so obvious and exposed, so went to the dealer and got a package of
air line and re-routed things to be out of site.

Pulled the rider boards, and plugged the holes after these pics were taken. If needed, I can convert back to 2-up in a few minutes, without a rider backrest and tourpak.
The Mustang compared to the well broken in Sundowner seat seems naturally a bit firm, sits a little higher
and moves you a little closer to the tank, but it feels good. Can't wait to break it in a bit.
Kind of weird, that even though I feel closer to the tank, the highway pegs seem a little farther away.
No gap between the front of the solo seat and the back of the console, like the Sundowner.

I removed the rider boards also. What did you use to plug the holes?
