As far as scraping the ground with the tips, this has not happened to me even with the rear end lowered. I have taken some tight turns and they have not touched the pavement yet.
Yes, I wished I had asked these guys how it happened, but we were all in a hurry. They may have run over something, I don't know. But both bikes had the same bent tips.
Both bikes were 09s and it was obvious they are ridden hard. The owners are buddies and they absolutly love their Big Radius pipes for both sound and top end performance. In fact I kind of got the feeling that looks of the Big Radius was secondary to the performance for these guys.
You do get some of the low end back when you put the Monster baffles in. I actually gained HP and TQ with this combination from the stock head pipes and D&D slip ons that I had before. What I really like is when you are at cruising speed on the freeway and twist the throttle hard it will really take off. So the top end is real good. As far as scraping the ground with the tips, this has not happened to me even with the rear end lowered. I have taken some tight turns and they have not touched the pavement yet.
Not to cause problems but you know I ask almost the same question about a week ago and your reply was "this subject has been talked about do a search" then you started a whole section on about how people should use the search section of the forum. WTF...do a search let of info and pics on these pipes.
Yes, and I believe your question was has anyone installed these pipes on a bagger.......I searched the threads invloving big radius pipes and didn't see pics of what I was looking for. I have seen a ton of pics of these pipes on the touring bikes, but never from the left side of the bike or the rear, which is specifically what I was looking for. Notice the title of the thread "Big radius guys--in here" The title alone indicates that I knew there were guys running these pipes and I was going to ask them something specific. Sorry if you got butt hurt for someone pointing out the search function when you asked a pretty broad question. To be completely honest, in your thread, I was telling you to search to help you out. Had you done it, and the board functioned properly, you would probably have had the opprotunity to see many more pictures than what appeared in your thread.
EDIT: Hey there Dr. here is your thread about the Big Radius pipes. I don't see where I was being a dick or anything like that. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...ig-radius.html You posted a question, then a response to the thread because no one had answered. I simply said to try a search because there were a lot of threads about it. I don't have those pipes, so I wasn't going to be able to answer any of your questions, instead I tried to guide you the right way to find it. I only knew there were a lot of threads on it, because I have been looking at the radius pipes for a while. No where in there did I see a question remotely close to the one I asked......thanks for your concern though......

Yea I see your point, and thanks for trying to point me in the right direction,I had done a search before I posted and this sites search section sucks. No way for you to know that I agree. But where I got crossways with you was a day or two later you made this huge deal about people asking questions before they searched, too be honest, that pissed me off because we should help each other when we can and you come across as saying people were wasting your time asking things before searching. To me thats a real bad way to look at things. Maybe we just see helping fellow HD owners differently.
That post I made (about using the search) wasn't actually sparked by yours......but it doesn't matter....just know I am raising my beer to you as I type....no worries man
Thank's...yeah you love a Deuce or not...the rocker took it's place..IMO I like the Deuce,I think they wanted more from the rocker, and it is just not there..
