Default cruse control

I could ask the dealer but might as well ask you guys. Can cruse control be installed on a 08 SG by the dealer, how much does it cost?

I know it can be put on that bike. I don't know how much the install would be.

Yes. I had the dealer install it on my 08 streetglide, and since I had it done when I purchased the bike they only charged for the cruise control(no labor). Can't remember the price, just look on the HD website.

The 08 has throttle by wire, this is an extremely easy install, you might want to consider installing it your self. I think the parts list price is about 240.00$

Installed one on the wifes 08 bike this weekend. Took 3 1/2 hours but I was going extremely slow to make sure I got it right.

If you do it yourself...after removing fairing cover and windshield go straight to removing the plastic cover underneath the key switch (I thinks its called the nancel cover). Its has to come off anyways and it gives you more finger room to run the cruise control switch wires. Alot easier to zip tie them in place.

I installed cruise on my 08' SG. Its really easy, just a matter of installing the switches, then riding to the dealer to have it turned on. Cost was a little over 2 hundred bucks.

its worth whatever they charge for it. i cant imagine not having cruise now after having it for a few long rides. id imagine maybe $350-400 installed at teh most on a TBW bike.

I use it all the time, bad arthritis in both hands. Especially long rides!
