Default Idle Surge?

Does anyone lese have a problem with a high / surging idle on their 09 after installing the FuelMoto stage 1 kit? Ive noticed on my 09 SG that at start up the bike will go up to about 1400 rpm then after about a minute goes into a sugre that goes from about 1000-1500rpm. Also if I I take off to soon after starting the bike up cold when I come to a stop and pull in the clutch the bike will rev up to about 1500rpm and sit there until I take off again. Once its warm it runs fine.

I called Fuel Moto and they said this is normal on the 09's??? They also said to cycle the ignition switch 3 times quickly before starting it. Anyone else heard this?

I have a 09 ultra with a v&h fuel pack and a 03 heritage with se race fueler and both dont do that at all, seems not normal to me. are those symptoms always happening under different weather conditions (temp and humidity)?

yep....mine did that both before and after the Fuelmoto Stage 1. I think maybe it does it to help speed the warm up??? Just a guess. It can be a little tricky at times. When I leave work, I have about 35 feet and then a sharp left turn to leave. nothing like having the bike leaned over a good bit, then getting an extra 400-500 rpms out of no where...

Mine too ... with and without the PC5. Not happy about it. Really not happy that I have to spend upwards of $2K to get a very expensive factory motorcycle to run properly (MoCo, are you listening?).

Yes, it does it in all weather conditions now. I never had any of these problems before the PCV. It almost acts like my carb'ed Sportster 1200R did, its not a deal breaker but still.
