Default 09 High Idle Question

My RPM's are around 1500 or so until the bike gets warm. It has been taken to dealer and they advised it is fine. I do have a PC V installed but it was doing this before the install. It will settle down after driving a couple of miles. Anybody else having a similar issue? Is it normal?

Default 09 High Idle Question

08s had a simular thing going. There if the idle did not come doen you were to back the trottle down as far as possible and then shut off the engine. Then you turn the ignition on at the switch and button and turn it off at the same place three times without starting the engine to set the computer. It's on switch then button, then off button and switch three times. It should start up then and idle lower.

Yep. The fast idle heats the engine quicker so it will burn fuel efficiantly.
