It's really not all that bad. I saw one yesterday at the local dealer when I was picking up from service. It's not really an orange and it's not really a red... it's more of some where in between. The swoop is also just an outline this year that more closely matches the paint scheme so it is there but doesn't just take over.
OK, just back from Rossmeyer's. He had two new Road Glides being prepped. I went up & took a close look at 'em.
For the Street Glide folks there's a sweet new bike in town! For the touring riders, Harley screwed up!
Nice enough bike for bar hoppin' & profilin', but it's gonna be a *project* to get a tour pack on that thing. Low rear end profiles good, but it ain't gonna be fun on a long, rough road.
I don't have any gripe with colors 'cause I don't care a lot about color. The black is, well, black. The red is kind of red with a hint of orange. A little black trim or pin striping would add some character. Of course a little red pin striping would add character to the black.......<shrug>
The sales geek fired the red one up for a few seconds, & I got a good look at the 2 into 1 exhaust. I'm all over that! If the hanger for the headers needs even a little bracket change to fit my '07 I'd be surprised, but I could make one in a few minutes! The first one of you that snags a new Road Glide & changes pipes, ping me! You got a sale for your take off exhaust.
