Taildraggerdave, is the interior of the dowco cover soft, so as not to scratch the bike. I did find one online for $40.

It has a fleece lining in the window area, otherwise it's coated canvas or something everywhere else. Hasn't scratched my black ultra yet, so it should be good.

Take care,
Dave

Same here.

I was wondering about the 1/2 cover that Harley Sells. I need something to keep the Texas sun off the bike while I'm at work.

Anybody have any comments about it?

Bought mine from Advanced Auto. Heat panels for the pipes, breathable and no dust. The bike is stored in a garage. Pep Boys also has a similar version. I paid $30.00.

I have a Harley cover , like canvas with soft felt on windshield, and a real pos it scratched my black 09 Ultra all over like spider scratches every where.I would not use a cover just maybe a sheet.
