Looks like Bruce Rossmeyer may be at fault......Sad situation...Bad judgment?? Guess we will never know why he tried to pass like that...

Kind of incredible really, it would seem to me that he would have a lot more experience riding and he would know better. Someone with so much to lose would normally be more hesitant in his risk assessments. just my $.02

Who knows if the guy really had the turn signal on? Was it his word against a dead man
just asking........my bud was knocked out cold by a guy backing out of his driveway without looking, he just shot right out( witness later testified) but he told the cops it was my buds fault , my buddy could not say what happened on accident site as he was in meat wagon out cold.

Just saying I was not there............RIP to Bruce..

He had 4 other riding buddies witness it and nobody else was involved. Wonder if he was that far ahead of the pack, or the rest of them knew the guy was hanging a left.

Sorry but I can't belive thats the official police report. In my accident which was non fatal (obviously since I'm writing this) it was 12 pages long. There is no way that the write up is that short or done that quick by the police department.

I was looking at motorcycle accident statistics. Odds of getting into an accident go down for the first two years...then they start to go up. Can't EVER forget that we are invisible.
