In the neverending quest
for the absolute best shine on black paint.....I have decided that all the BS super quick, easy application, mega shine, micro technology wax products are all just pretenders compared to the old standby....CARNUBA! I had always used it until I read about all these new fangled products that some of the folks on here are raving about. Fact is, none shine like carnuba. After the catastrophe at the stealer last week, I rubbed in some HD scratch and swirl treatment and followed it up with a generous coat of carnuba and it looks like new money. Even under flourescent lights. Just a random thought......carry on.....

ORIGINAL: Carmell RKC
Liquid Glass, IMHO it outperforms any carnuba Ive used by far.

I use to use Liquid Glass all the time, that is, until I tried Zanio.
Liquid Glass is a fine wax, but zanio is just the next step to a deep shine..........especially on dark paint

RE: In the neverending quest
I had my bike in for an inner primary leak. They not only failed to fix the leak, but also left greasy handprints all over the exhaust, and spider web scratches on every inch of the paint. Looked like they wiped my paint with a dry terry towel. The HD scratch remover works better than everything else I have tried.
As far as liquid glass. I have some. I have used it. It pales in comparison to pure carnuba wax. It is easier to use, but does not leave as deep a shine as the carnuba does.

RE: In the neverending quest
wnogood,
Try super glaze from the wax shop. It's hard to find now but we used to use it on our race car with fantastic results. You'll never see any build up or white residue in the cracks or on anything vinyl or leather. I even use it on my jeep's fender extensions. I have never used anything easier and still getting outstanding results.

RE: In the neverending quest
In the last few years, it has become difficult to find pure carnuba wax. I actually use the term "Pure" pretty loosely.....what I should say is a carnuba wax that does not have a bunch of stuff in it that you don't want. Most of what you see now is carnuba cleaner wax, or hand glaze with carnuba etc-etc. What you want is "Pure brazilian carnuba wax". I have not tried it, but I noticed that S100 is selling a product labeled as such. What I use is made by Eagle One.
