Got the new set-up. V/H slip ons, SE air kit, and V/H fuel pack. Sounds great but do not notice any more performance. Am I suppose to or does this set-up only get me the better sound? thanks
How do they tune it properly if they programed the numbers in the fuel pack that came with the instructions? Is there another step they left out that I'm not aware of?
I'm not sure what all the functions the fuel pack does. But, you need to have your bike dyno tuned--both fue/air mixture, and timing. These two factors, when tuned correctly, will let your engine perform at its best!
I've seen people who went the less-expensive way, and only did the fuel. The end results were that the performance didn't increase. As you may have seen (on this forum) that most contributors have either the SE Race Tuner or the PCIII. These two modules have proven their performance and have pretty good reputation.
A good dyno tuned by a knowledgeable tuner should improve your performance. Good luck!

The fuelpak optimizes fuel delivery but in and of itself is not further tuneable pass the limits of the factory settings and cannot be improved via dyno tuning.
As said above another unit such as the PCIII or SERT is required in order to dyno tune.
thanks bountyhunter! I called local bike shop (redline) and they agree that the fuel pack is crap. They want $389 for the pc111 and $300 for the custom map to include the dyno/install. Is $689 plus tax sound good for all this?
thanks
