I spoke with them this morning. My part is not in stock. They appolgized for a delay. I think the weekend the weekend threw them off a bit and they are running very short handed this week. I was told it will probably be tomorrow before they order my part from HD.
Not the greatest news, but you have to give them alot of credit on the honesty. Sure beats the heck out of them blaming HD or something else. Don't see enough of that now days.
I ordred several items that were not in stock but were avail from the MOCO distribution point and it took one week for that order to Richmond. Not bad! Good guys.
I've ordered alot from zanotti's,not once was anything i ordered in stock, which isnt a big deal for me.as a rule it is usually 4-6 days for them to get it in ,3 days as a max for it to be sitting on the porch ,when i get home from work,I'm very pleased with how fast i get my stuff ,and how much i save over buying from my local stealer.
Been using Zanotti for 3.5+ years now. Lately it seems that a lot of Harley's stuff is backordered due to the MoCos inability to meet the demand. Took a month and a half to get my Smart Siren II to me..no fault of Zanotti. Even when stationed overseas Zanotti was one of the few companies that would ship to FPO addresses. I would still get most of my stuff within a week unless they had to wait on it. When it ships from Zanotti it's usually here, Chasn SC, in 3-4 days. Great prices, H-D and aftermarket, and the best customer service.
Every time I plan on ordering accessories I compare between Zanottis and Chicago Hd. Chicago is always 20% off and very, very low shipping charges. Zanottis prices vary greatly in percentage off and their shipping charges are criminal. They are always and without fail at least $7 to $12 higher in shipping GOUGES, sorry I meant charges. I don't know why I even bother to compare any more. Just my .03 (adjusted for inflation) worth.
