Im gonna speak to Allen at MCC and see if he thinks he can help me. If not Im gonna have a like new Mustang Seat w/backrest and passenger pillion i will be selling in the classifieds.
The Tall Boy is NOT a good choice. I had the same problem you have with my 2008 Ultra and put the Tall Boy on it. You are not sitting on the tank anymore but the seat is very uncomfortable. I got an Ultimate Seat and I do not think there can be a more comfortable seat. You can get it with an adjustable backrest as well.
had my seat done at mcc 2 weeks ago. sorry to say but i cant ride it more tha 100miles .i need to contact brent and see if he has any ideas.i dont no if the memory foam holds heat or what is going on .whats the imput on mustang seats

I'm curious about how many miles you have ridden since you got the seat mods? I had mine done in July and Allen told me it would take 800-1000 miles for the seat to 'break in'. I have put over 5k on it now and I love the seat.
Regardless, if your not happy with the seat, call MCC about it. They are GREAT to work with and will do everything they can to make it right.
just got my 09 ultra, love the bike, like the seat but is the sun downer a better ride??
Catalog says it has more padding but it didn't look like it to me. I would like to stay with a harley seat because the dealer will trade the stock seat out.

I am 5'8", 32 inseam. I bought the sundowner, lowered me about maybe an inch at most. Just finished a 3875 mile round trip ride from TX to Sturgis, Yellowstone, Utah, Colorado, then home. No hot seat, monkey butt, or tail bone problems. IMO best 300.00 spent. After having the stock seat and then the sundowner, I tend to think that the foam is different. My dealer wouldn't trade out the stock seat, just by the new one if you want it. They did let me install and take it for a ride before buying.
My 2cents.
