I am trying to find a seat that sits me down and back a bit on my 09 Ultra. Just bought the Mustang Solo w/backrest and although is fairly comfortable I still feel like I am sitting to close or on top of the tank.....just cant get stretched out.....By the way I am 6'3". Im sure the Tallboy seat is a option but I lose the adjustable backrest with it (backrest is a must) Any thoughts on what might work? I would prefer a solo seat that I could add a pillion seat for the wife who rides occasionally. 90% of my riding is solo.

Have you tried speaking to Allen yet? Easy to talk to and if he can't help you he will tell you that too. May be able to give you a few ideas.
Good luck on finding that "seat" I have been looking for awhile and ended up putting the Tallboy seat on my 09 SG, not happy with the look but the ride is much better! so far it looks like no one is making a Tallboy configuration in a solo style seat. I think the Tallboy will accept the backrest, mine has a slot for it. please pass on the info if you find a great seat for the 6'2" frame with 34"+ inseams.
I'm 6'4" and 220 lbs. and use the Corbin Classic Solo. It will drop you down and move you back a couple of inches (bought it from a friend because it moved him back to far).
It has a large p-pad if I ever do ride two up. The wife rode from Colorado to Calif. on it once.......no complaints, she was happy. I rode coast to coast in a week......no complaints, I'm happy!
I bought the mustang for my Ultra and while it is better than stock it still leaves alot to be desired. I'm thinking about either going with MCC or Russell day long saddle. I saw a booth at Sturgis for MCC but it was late and the guy said Allen had already left. They did a seat for me a while back and it was alot better than stock.

i also have a 09 ultra. i want a new seat. but the bad thing is its alot of money to find out you dont like it. the mustang sounds like it might work for me. i am shorter 5-10
You might want to check out C&C Seats. I don't have one myself but people on here rave about them. From looking at the pics and talking to them myself they move you back a couple of inches. And they have alot of cool customizing options.
