Does anyone have experience with this fault code? I took my bike in a few weeks back to get an ABS issue worked out and while they were hooked up with the digital tech, they indicated this code was present. I have not been experiencing any issues whatsoever however I'd like to do a little research while the bike is still under warranty. The code is:
"B1006 Accessory line over-voltage, instruments"
It shows up under the SP speedometer, and T tachometer
I don't have anything added to the accessory line at all. Initially I had my Hogtunes amp hooked to the cigar lighter for a 12v on signal, and thought that may be it. I moved that over to something else, cleared the codes and they come right back. I'm not getting a check engine light code or any performance issues, but am curious if anyone has ever been down this path. Since it's under warranty, I can have the service department dig in but rather not go in blindly.
Thanks dawg, a good place to start. I haven't been hooked to a battery charger but do keep it on a battery tender when in the garage so maybe there is some correlation.
