First went to limp mode, now nothing!!
I have an 08 SE Ultra. I pulled into my garage a month ago, good to go. Came back last week, started up no probs. Then went into limp mode. Engine light came on, and the ABS light. I was going to put a new trailer module in so l pulled the battery. Dropped it and broke it. Got new battery and now it wont even start!!! I only have the pos and neg wires hooked up, it wont even bump the starter. Never had this before. Engine light comes on, ABS light comes on. Even the cruise control light comes on in red. Warning lights flash. I have the stereo, amp and trickel charger disconnected from the battery. Im lost, any ideas?

Second chance I have been having this problem as well fortunately it happened at dealership when tech was checking it out, firstly when you feel the bike go into limp mode while you are riding the bike will not restart so don't turn it off , the battery is below 10 amps, my bike is 16 soft tail slim S only 3000km and currently back at dealership for same problem, they have changed 2 computers and problem persists, big safety issue cause it changes while riding , losing confidence, doesn't show in errors when hooked up , no codes and no history

I used to read threads about the plug which sits behind your air cleaner which is attached to the throttle body.
Take it off carefully, spray it out with electrical connection spray and plug it back in.
That used to be the culprit around your model year bikes which I read here.
I don't think you have anything to lose at this point by trying it. Good luck.
