Anybody used old hwy 64 from Raleigh to Western NC mountains. Looks like 2 lane all the way to southern tip where you could pickup hwy 28 that leads up to Robbinsville area. I you have how is the road? Looks good on the map. Want to stay off the Superslab next time.
i rode portions of that road last week..I would say it is in fair condition..some potholes but nothing you can't avoid. Off the road, the scenery is breath taking and well worth it.
Yep, I was just on that road 2 weeks ago coming home from the Outer-banks of North Carolina. Road was nice enough for what I could see. Thunderstorms the whole way!
