There is a Service Bulletin for a paste kit that cures the rear brake squeal on 08 Touring. It is covered if your bike is still under warranty. I can't find it right now but someone here, probably Dawg, can post it.

You could get some Street Glide shocks to lower it and lower the front end as well for better reach to the ground.

Here's the SB for the rear brake squeal. Also, forgot to welcome you to the forum. Got caught up trying to help with the brake squeal issue.
