Just purchaced a set of the air deflectors for the fairing. I wasn't happy about paying $109 for pieces of plastic..but was wondering if anyone else has these and how do you like them. They installed in seconds and they do look nice. I heard good things about them and I can't wait to try them out.
They came stock on my Ultra and I really like them. On hot days you can open them up for increased airflow. When it's cold or rainy you can close them up to keep warm and dry.
I'll be trying them out this weekend. Heading to Maine for the weekend and plan on test driving these bad puppies. Not sure about the hot weather right now, but mid 80's is planned. I wanted to see if they help with the wind coming off the fairing mostly. I added a set of engine guard covers I bought aftermarket and love those. So this coupled with the louvers should make a difference I hope.
2 things my wife and I like.
1) adjustable air flow for the driver and passenger
2) smoked instead of clear, after some miles the clear will become distorted and look crappy. With the smoke the same thing will happen but it isn't near as noticeable.
