The windsheild is the big question have had my glide for 3 years and still wondering the clockwerks 12 " is not it if you are over 6' tall works ok but have had the clear view tall on for longer trips and works great but I have to look through it and dont realy like the looks good luck and enjoy the ride
On your CC you might have too much slop in the throtle cables or they are binding a little, make sure the throtle returns to idle easily. The manual has a set procedure for this.
If you find that you like the Cee Bailey - I have one that I took off an Ultra Classic.. used it for only half a season... It's a 13" smoked - which is equivalent to a 9.5" - 10" standard windshield. I'll sell it.... send me a PM if you're interested...
Thanks......I don't think the Ultra & RG are compatible???
I'll get home from a 2 week work stint Thursday.....heading out for a memorial ride over the weekend....Hopefully I can get a better feel on what I need to do then...... Thanks again......

I'm 5'10"..... Have been looking at the Werks & have also seen a few other's on Ebay...... I can play around w/ the 8" & 10" cheepies on e-bay (most seem to be $30-40) to see if I find something better...... Don't mind spending the $$ on a werks, but at $180 a pop, just wanted some imput here first.........Thanks! & awsome job on your glide!!!!

IS a possability.........I just picked up the bike outside of Charlotte 3 weeks ago.......changed grips in the hotel parking lot & have only been able to ride it the 1 time when I noticed it wouldn't engage.....
I'll get home this week at some point & look at throttle adjustment as well as to make sure my foot brake switch isn't stuck......
Thanks.
2nd, My CC isn't engaging....Switch on, Red light in the speedo (or tach??) is on, but won't go green or engage......I work on the road & will look at the throttle line adjustments and check out to see if the rear brake switch is stuck on, but other than that any ideas on what to check??
Thanks!!!!!!
This may be a dumb response, but on my UG (don't have a RG), you gotta turn the CC on (then you get the red light on the speedo) but to engage it you need to use the Set/Decell, Resume/Accel switch on the right handgrip. Didn't see anyone else mention this, and I'm sorry if this is too obvious to post...just tryin' to help.

Not dumb at all....... I do have the switch on & the red light does come on indicating the system just needs to be set...... I'm thinking I have some sloppy throttle controls or a stuck foot brake switch........When I got the bike it didn't have an owners manual so I needed to throw it out here for some though while mine was on order.......I think it'll be a pretty easy fix.....just need to to cut the wind noise & I'll be golden!
well if you just installed grips I will bet you broke the front brake switch. There is a small plastic plunger that will break off under the hand brake lever if not done properly. Quick check is to see if the brake light is on all the time.
