Contacting HD
Would like to know how to contact HD Corp. other than calling? No where on there web site can I find an Email addi. Seem to be getting the run around from the local stealerships on whether or not I qualify for the law enforcement discount. TIA.
Did you call (414) 343-4056? I have used this number several times and always been able to talk to a person in Milwaukee.
ORIGINAL: Michael in Oregon

Well according to another stealership, I should have no problem with the LEO discount. They also told me that they had done the same deal with another officer from another state facility! That's what I'm talking about!!!
This is what the Harley site says about Peace Officer Edition bikes...." Harley-Davidson® Peace Officer Special Edition motorcycles are offered only to current, or retired, law enforcement officers. Officers must verify current (or retired) employment, name of agency, rank and badge number (requires photocopy of police I.D.)." I had no problem with my dealer, they took a copy of my I.D. and sent the paperwork to Harley. I was told Harley would verify that I was a cop and then send the bike.
Hope this helps.
I see that you are a corrections officer. How does your state classify you? Are you a Peace Officer, like Texas, or just corrections. Here in Florida they have two different academies for corrections and L.E.O. Once you are a corrections officer you can then go to a crossover to become an L.E.O.
Your best bet would be to look up in the statues the law regarding L.E.O. and Corrections, in some states the wording is almost the same.
