The question comes down to what makes you happy. I have attended way too many funerals of clients and friends over the last 6 months and it made me realize how short life can be.
You don't buy Harleys for investment; you buy them for fun. If you can pick up a new RG Screamin Eagle for net $16,000 why not. I'm sure there is still more wiggle room there so if it makes you happy; go for it.
it's your money, and will end up being what you want to ride. so it's your choice. i also think the se road glides rock, but if you're happy with what you got , well. you'll figure it out. i was going to do the same thing here in the tulsa area, or i considered it, then i got a shock of reality. my 08 is paid for, i got it set up exactly the way i wanted it to turn out, and i'm happy with it, it's plenty quick, and it doesn't **** me off. and by keeping it, i have no payments to deal with. whew, it was a close one though, those orange screamin eagle roadies do rock.
