Default It Is With Deepest Regret...

that my wife and I report the loss of our beloved 'Sonny'--

Sonny passed from our garage this afternoon, after serving us both for the last two years---faith... faith... faith (sniff!)fully, and with the energy and devotion of a two-year old Road King.

He had true pedigree, and was a 'Classic' in every sense of the word. We were a mixed race family-- Sonny Vivid Black, and us white as snow. We were family, but no more.

Yup, I sold the glorious bastard, and am having seller's remorse Big-Time. My beautiful wife won't speak to me, she is still in mourning, wearing Sonny's favorite black Do-rag, her little size 7's reaching for his familiar floor-boards.

He is now in a better place, with Frank and Mary, who have vowed to honor his memroy and to change his synthetic oil BEFORE it is time. We know they will carry his legacy forever. With loans paid, and credit scores slightly improved....

Please, may we have a moment of silence

I should hope so! I've put 1500+ miles on my street glide in two weeks. Who knows what I'll get into over the next two years!

My God, Man!!!

Have you no decency? No soul? No moral compass?

Sonny was FAMILY--- we are missing part of the family!

How could you expect me to even think about ---

A brand new young 2010 Street Glide--- Sunglow Red-- all the goodies--- shapely sensuous seat--- yeah, chrome dash rings- accents-- memphis shades, maybe apes, heated grips, laced wheels, that's right, I'm talking set and primed for a Stage I and maybe a Stage II right out of the shoot--- yeah, I said it stage II baby!

oh, uh, sorry, sonny, I didn't mean it--

gentlemen/gentlewomen--- please raise your glasses-- a toast--
To Sonny! Long May He Ride!

That's kind of what I was thinking. I don't get rid of a vehicle just when it gets broken in. Heck, I don't even get rid of them when they are broken really bad. I just fix 'em and keep on riding.

That has got to be the shortest MORNING I have ever seen. Enjoy the new family addition.
