I'm with Redneck on this one... Keep it forever, but also get a new one sometime in the future... After all the cash laid out for the updates and bling, I can't see throwing that away.
Besides, how cool would it be to be the original owner of a classic bike in the future? Most older Harleys are worth more today than they were when they were new. At least in actual dollar amounts...
I've owned a 1993 Fat Boy...a 1996 Heritage Special...a 1999 Road King Classic...and now a 2005 Road King. I'll keep mine until some other HD model comes along that "trips my trigger". Really like the Road Kings though!! [sm=biker2.gif]
I've been telling people that my new EGC is probably the last bike I'll own for the rest of my life. Maybe that will change, but I'm happy with the idea right now.
