Default L.E.D. replacements - NEAT

I had a chance to see the new Kuryakyn LED brake light and turn signals a week ago and want to report what great mods they are. A bit pricey but they are burn-out proof and really enhance the brake's visibility, especially when you combine the rear turn signals with the brakes. I'll try to upload a picture.

Ted,

Where did you get that set up from? I was just looking at an add the other day. Is this the set up where half the tail light blinks whenever you use the turn signal, and when applying the brakes all the lights flash a couple of times?

Thanks

You can wire them up that way if you like - actually, you can wire the standard lights that way too. Just takes an add-on under the seat. With the LED option, you need a load resistor which helps the flasher relay think there's still a high current drain and the flashing works as it should. It comes with the turn signals. Takes a couple of minutes to hook up. I got the brake light off of EBay (enter a search with the Kury stock #) and the turn sigs directly from Kury.

Like Ted said, you will need a load director or at least I do after adding the tail light and signals. My signals now start off normal, then go into crack pipe mode. Installing an equalizer tomorrow.

My set of Panacea Deluxe LED's from Kuryakyn cam with the load equalizer. I love them. Mine is the laydown taillight w/blu dot and half the brake light acts as a turn signal too. I love them. Had them about a year. 20% off at M and M Cycle.

I have the following setup. LED smoked turn signals front and back, LED smoked laydown taillight, run_turn_break light module (comes with load equalizer). Pretty cool system. Flashes the rear turn signals and taillight 3 times then goes steady. Very bright. The setup that flashes half the taillight as a turn signal is the Panacea setup.
