Default Are 09's rear wheel offset?

Just installed some new PM wheels on my 09 FLHX. I didn't pay attention to the stock rear wheel but after the PM wheel was installed I noticed it's offset to the primary side about 1/4". Is this normal ? All other components line up perfectly.

Many hd'[s are offset. Best way to check is hold two 8 ft flouresent light tubes up against both sides of the tires as someone measures front wheel to tube distance on both sides.

You can use something besides light tubes, but they are very light weight and easy to handle, plus burnt out bulbs are usually available anywhere.

I don't know if it's offset from the front tire. I only noticed it, as I took off the fender to install it and it's easy to see the offset looking straight down, it's set to the left. Measuring from the fender sub frame, it's 1" on the left to the tire and the right side sub frame is 1.25" from the tire.

There's plenty of room there to keep it centered so I'm starting to wonder if the wheel was made incorrectly from PM? I don't want to go to the trouble to swap wheels again just to find out. Hoping someone here has noticed the same or not?

Have afriend who rides a Soft tail and put PM Wheels on it. The rear tire was rubling the rear fender bolt on the left side. We noticed it on a ride one day.
Took back to the dealer who installed the wheels and they gave them a new tire and centered the wheel. Different spacers I think.

I don't think there are different spacer options for the 09 FLHX. All there is are the Brake Caliper Bracket and ABS sensor on the right side and a tiny 1/4" spacer on the left which making smaller would offset more.

Nobody has anything to say? Surely someone must know if this is normal or not?

PM has been in the game for years.
If you ordered correctly, I venture to say you got the right wheel.
