Just MO but duals look much better on a bagger. Considering the fact that of all the Harleys I've been around over the last 10 plus years I remember 1 or 2 running stock pipes who really cares !!

I rode a '10 Street Glide yesterday with the Screaming Eagle/Supertrapp-looking slip on with a download and high flow air cleaner. Holy crap! What a bark! Can't believe it's noise compliant! I'm sold, sounds great! Looks good too.
Not sure why so many people have to have dual exhausts. IIRC most old Harleys all had 2-1 exhausts...

Looked at one on Saturday also. Didn't have helmet to test ride. It sounded SWEET!!
Wife said it looked kind of weird. I told her that when we're riding, we're not looking at the pipes, are we? She agreed on that.
I think the MoCo went to a 2-1 because most of us change pipes immediately so they save a few bucks on each bike built by leaving off one muffler.
i really don't think that its any cheaper than the 2009 exhaust. after all, they did have to completely redo the tooling, and since they didn't change all the baggers, then they still have to manufacture both types of headpipes.
i think, they did it for the street glide, and the road king custom because those are the 'hot rod' models (with the exception of the se models, and who knows why they do what they do with them.....) and the 2-1 is more of a 'hot rod' exhaust....
