for those like me who have the screaming eagle performance muffler #p.n. 64985-07 and found the muffler to quiet!!! I just order a set of performance baffle from cycle shack dealer not expensive $79.00 CDN
i'll give a try before changing my pipe for something else http://www.cycle-shack.com/cycle/ago...ANCE%20BAFFLES
Did the same thing only went to Harley Davidson of Bowling Green, KY
Had a 20% off deal, got the baffles and they installed them for 70.00 bucks.
Love the sound, deep and not too loud...lot quieter than my Rush pipes....
put the fishtails end caps on them, kind of old school look....
I like it, would recommend the swap.
( note, the Rush in the picture, haven't took a new pic yet)

Be prepared...that Cycleshack Performance baffle has the end flange turned inwards instead of out. In other words, if you're planning to use a bolt, washer and nut to hold the CycleShack baffle in place...you can't. There's no way to access the flange lip to hold the nut. Your only option is to use a sheet metal screw which I personnally just wouldn't trust.
I wanted to use this baffle but wanted to have one with the flange reversed (there's no other baffle which comes with the flange facing inward, not even HDs). Unfortunately Cycleshack wanted to double the price to reverse the flange. In any case, good luck with the project.
I have them on my '08 Street Glide and really like the sound and performance. I left the original packing in. You will have to drill the baffle for the rivets - no problem but note the location of the holes in the original baffle where you attach the tips and be sure to have the new baffles in the same location in the muffler before you drill. If I remember correctly, the center rivet hole is in line with one of the four holes in the baffle. This is important for the tips, especially turn-downs or fish-tails to line up right.
Thanks for the info Heatwave...
I look at the SE muffler baffle and there is 3 pop rivet retaining them ...my option will be pop rivet
I have the SE slip-ons on my 2010 SEUC and there were no rivets. Just 2 tack welds. I ground the welds out with a dremel and drilled a single hole through the bottom of the muffler and through the flange on the baffle. Then used a single SS buttonhead, lock washer and nut to hold the baffle tight.
If your using rivets through holes that already exist, you should be fine even with the flange facing inward. The rivets just won't be very convenient if you decide you want to change the baffle back or to some other type in the future.
Job is done SE baffle was easy to pull out just 3 pop rivet to pop up ...install the new baffle with the original packing . Can't go for a ride for test drive we have rain here today :-(
here is a pic:: the upper baffle is the screaming eagle
