yeah- It's been mentioned before- the BUB 7 Slip Ons
Okay all- I've read all the posts- used search for the BUB 7 slip ons..I've ridden with Monstermile and a few here others here.....and, I read and saw their BUB recommendations..now I'm sold on them..I'm looking to swap out my out dated screamin eagle (60 something 99's) that are getting worn- (26K)..here's my Q
I had my 05 FLHTI dyno mapped for those screamin eagle slips..will I need a Dyno re-map? Buying a power commander or true duels is out of the Q- my budget is limited to the slips from Phat Performance and maybe a dyno map ...any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hey Monster! The dealer (Patriot HD) simply re-mapped it when I put the slip ons on it back in 2005...not sure how..(dyno map or PC)..it only cost 150 at the time to do it, so it wasn't anything fancy..I don't know much about that stuff..Thanks- Dana
If you have a PC or any other FI module you should be able to see the module. Not sure exactly where they mount on the earlier models. Either under one of the side covers or on top of the battery cover. They may have done just a basic Stage I download. I don't think it would matter if you switched to the Bubs if that is the case. Not like you have a perfect map right now anyway. How does it run with the SE's on there????

Thanks Monster! The SEs do run pretty well, a few pops here and there- depending if I get gas from sheetz or shell...It looks like it was only the stage one download....thanks again...
