103ci vs 110ci
Thinking of doing a big bore kit this winter. My question is does the 110 cylinders fit the case or do you have to cut the case to get the jugs to fit. I do know (I believe) that they increase the bore and not the stroke, so I am assuming you have to cut the case. Also would you recommend the stage II 103 from Harley if I go this route or talk to headquarters for their kits
I know just enough to be dangerous, I do have the appropriate help for the project.

With the bottom end work required to go to 110, it would make sense to me to go bigger then that. If you dont want to get into the bottom end, a 107 would be right up your ally. No kit for that from the moco. I would stay away from the dealership regardless. I would be calling someone like Hillside Cycle, or Head Quarters perhaps.

I did the 103 not wanting the dealer to split the bottom case. Last time they did that on my '05 Ultra I blew the engine 400 miles from home and out in West Texas where even tow trucks get lost.
