Default Part info?

I have seen them, but unsure where to get them. I am talking about the screw that is used to secure the stock seat to the fender. I just got my C&C solo yesterday and that screw sticks out like a sore thumb on the top of the fender. I have seen black ones and chrome ones that cover that screw up. Anyone have any info, thanks.

Here is a pic of what I am talking about without the screw inserted.

Don't recognise that screw, but why not use the HD thumbscrew that is made for that application exactly. Alternatively you could try finding a stainless button head screw, that would look great.

I use the thumbscrew and love it as I change regularely between seats

I prefer the HD plastic, chrome threaded dome screw. They're cheap (IIRC $2-3), low profile, and just wide enough diameter to cover the fender insert. Don't have the part number but if you go to the HD store parts counter it was OEM on 2003 Anniversary Softail Springer. Or PM dawg and he'll have the part no. for you.

Thanks Harleypingman, that is what I was looking for.

I have one of the thumb screws, that is for the seat. The pic I posted is on the rear fender, it is the insert that the screw threads into to hold the seat. I am looking to cover it up.

Default fender cover

I also make license plate bolts that match the antenna covers. The fender screw should be a 1/4-20 and the skull bolt will screw right in. Attached are a few pictures. I also included a couple pictures of what I made for my fatboy.
