No help to you Swamp Fox... I will keep tabs with your post to see what you go with as it will be of interest also. From the two choices you posted, I sort of lean towards the second T-Bag, better price, better material (?), and I like the construction...
There are many different bags out there for the choosing. I, personally, have used T-Bag brand for many years. However, Kuryakyn has come out with a very nice bag that a bit stiffer and looks more like a luggage, than a soft bag. It's pretty spacious too.
You may want to also consider how much space you will need in the bag you choose. For me, I bought my bag to pack about 2-3 days worth of clothes. I've seen bigger, but that will only lead you to pack more stuff you may not need.
Good Luck

I am looking for a piece of luggage that will mount on the seat of my EG and also serve as a back rest. A search online produced two possibilities:
I have used an expandable T-Bag for years and really like it. I mount it on my passenger seat and use it for a backrest. If riding two-up just turn it around and sit it on the luggage rack. Either way it slips over the passenger backrest for more stable attachment. I travel for weeks at a time with this setup.
I have the Full Dresser bag and it works great on the luggage rack but it has a hard plastic inside that your back will hit if you try to turn it around and use it as a backrest.
Look at a SAC product. I've had one since 1993. Fantastic customer service (rare these days). I called them when I changed bikes, and the pocket wouldn't fit the new sized backrest. They told me they'd change it for no charge, just send it to them. Well, I did, and they sent me back a new, improved model...no charge. Changed Harley's again. Same thing, but this time they did change the pocket...no charge. These things are water-tight and durable.....and a great buy.

Thanks for the tip Bareback, thatâs what I was looking for. I like the looks of that bag the best, but would want to use it on the seat most of the time.
