~$14,500-$15,500 depending on how long you want to hold out.

Bike prices can vary depending where you live.
Best to look up KB and NADA values then compare to bikes being sold online,in local newspapers,etc-.

well...here's how THAT works...if you were the seller you would say a fair price was 16,500 cause you paid about 19,000 by the time you got it out the door, and you hardly rode it....if you are the buyer you would say, 13,500 is fair because there are tons of bikes for sale with lots of chrome and goodies on them and this bike is stock,...so the real fair price is somewhere in the middle...I say a fair(for both sides) price for that bike is about 14,500 as someone else above said

Good post Joe

The credit market makes it conducive for buying NEW. Most belong to a credit union and the interest rates are low enough for new bike sales that used bikes are a litter harder to move. At least down here in Po-dunk Louisiana. These nuts will remortgage their 1965 house trailer for a new Harley. As stated as well, geography can play a part in selling price.

What color is the bike and where are you located?

just checked her out. every thing looks great except for light rust on on a few bolt heads and spark plugs (almost like it was stored outside). explanation i got was, bike has always been stored in the garage where the water heater also is which prob caused it to rust a little. does that sound right? i don’t have a water heater in my garage so i dont know if that’s possible.

If its a gas water heater and not vented right then yes that can cause rust..but water heaters in general don't cause rust (except inside themselves). You'd have to see it first I guess...if the water heater was dripping on the bike then of course it can cause rust. Just be sure before buying is my point
