HD Oil Cooler vs. Bub 7 2:1
I just tried it yesterday and I could not complete the step where you mount the oil cooler adaptor assembly to the bike. I had to turn the assembly such that the flanges in the back of the adaptor fit into the bike's mount. When I did so, the top of the oil assembly bumped into the metal housing of the O2 sensor on the front header pipe of my Bub 7 2:1.
I tried for over an hour. Loosened the O2 sensor. Removed the sensor and tried to install it after the adaptor. All except filing down the oil assembly (which I won't do since the area in question is a non-replacable gasket).
Admittedly, I bought the exhaust when it first came out back in April, and I'm waiting to hear from the good folks @ Bub. But do any of ya'll have the same problem?
I wasn't quite whether to post in the Exhaust or the Oil collection, so I picked this Touring thread instead.
Any input appreciated/ Vic 'queasyRider'
ya know, maybe it's time to dump these pipes. I'm still not complaining. they're just not for me given how quiet they seem to me. I think I'll post them for a trade for rino slip-ons or something. then I can still install that HD oil cooler and use the HD stock headers.
Thanks for the info!
